BODYARMOR is looking for an Innovation Intern to join our team.

As a BODYARMOR Innovation Intern you will be a part of the Innovation team and will be assigned a master project that will support the development of the BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition rolling 5-year innovation pipeline across both BODYARMOR & POWERADE brands.  You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the category landscape product trends and macro consumer trends and their potential application to the functional hydration/nutrition space.  Additionally you will work with our development team to work on product design or development quality and sensory of new innovations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research new and upcoming trends in the sports nutrition space


• Create product and process designs for new innovations or participate in continuous improvement projects for existing portfolio


• Work with the cross functional QA and Regulatory teams to understand our QA standards and metrics


• Understanding nutritional components of products that consumers are seeking


• Identifying white space opportunities within the functional beverage space to expand the BASN portfolio of brands


• Assisting the Innovation Team with various projects to complement launches currently in the pipeline


• Support additional ad hoc projects as requested


• Present project results at the completion of the internship

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in BS in food science chemistry/chemical engineering or other similar major


• Strong analysis creative thinking planning organizing and problem-solving skills


• Basic knowledge of food science chemistry or nutrition science


• Strong attention to detail.  Self-starter.  Team player.


• Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment


• Ability to travel (10%)

Compensation

$4320/ per month

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography job-related knowledge skills and experience. A full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position is offered.
