Speech Therapist - Lusail, Qatar


Our clinic in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. This is a full-time position that does not include accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the individual's speech and language abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on the evaluation results
- Implement therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate individuals and their families on exercises and techniques for improving communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Qatar (or eligible for licensure)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and creating personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with the ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- A strong understanding of communication disorders and their impact on daily life

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially those of African descent.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Previous experience working in an English-speaking country
