Wedding Planner
A wedding planner is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of a wedding, from the initial consultation with the couple to the execution of the event. As a wedding planner in Doha, Qatar, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their special day, as well as manage all aspects of the planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their budget, timeline, and vision for the wedding
- Provide recommendations on vendors, venues, and other services based on client preferences and budget
- Negotiate contracts and fees with vendors on behalf of the clients
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for each event leading up to the wedding day
- Coordinate meetings and appointments with vendors, including food tastings, venue tours, and floral arrangements
- Keep track of all expenses and stay within budget constraints set by the clients
- Attend rehearsals and oversee setup on the day of the wedding to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Be available for any last-minute changes or emergencies during the planning process or on the day of the event
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Malayalam or Arabic (for Malayalees or Egyptian candidates)
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Must have a valid visa that allows for employment in Qatar (visa sponsorship available)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and vendors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (based on client needs)
- Preference given to female candidates
