Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes and systems in order to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production flow, reduce waste and increase productivity
- Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Work closely with production teams to streamline processes and improve workflow
- Design layouts for production facilities, considering factors such as space requirements, ergonomics, and safety regulations
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement new technologies to increase efficiency
- Develop cost-benefit analyses for proposed process improvements
- Monitor production performance and provide recommendations for improvements as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products or improve existing ones
- Train staff on new processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar role
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Six Sigma or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficient in project management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of automation technologies is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience working in Qatar or the Middle East region
- Familiarity with Arabic language
