Librarian Assistant (Pakistani Nationals) in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


Our library in Al-Kuwait is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Librarian Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a Pakistani national who is fluent in English and has a passion for books and learning. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided, along with a free visa and ticket to Kuwait.

As a Librarian Assistant, you will assist the head librarian in managing the day-to-day operations of the library. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our library provides an excellent service to our patrons. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and loves helping others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating books and materials
- Check-in and check-out books using our library system
- Process new book arrivals and maintain accurate records
- Help maintain the organization of books on shelves
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patrons
- Create displays and promote library events
- Assist with library programs, such as storytime for children or book clubs for adults
- Conduct basic research requests from patrons
- Maintain cleanliness of the library space

Requirements:
- Pakistani nationality with fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of library systems and Microsoft Office Suite
