Job Title: Part-time Librarian for Malayalees in Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will be a Malayalee with a passion for books and knowledge, and must be able to work without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist library patrons in locating and borrowing materials
- Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloging new materials
- Plan and conduct library programs and activities for the Malayalee community
- Provide reference services and research assistance to library users
- Manage circulation of materials and handle any related tasks, such as overdue notices or fines
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop and update library policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Must be a fluent speaker of Malayalam, as well as proficient in English
- Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Familiarity with library systems and technology is a plus
