Job Title: Librarian (English Speaking)

A reputable library in Dubai, UAE is seeking a full-time Librarian who is fluent in English and has experience in library management. This position is open to all nationalities, with a preference for Malayalees. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, journals, and other resources, as well as assisting library patrons with research and reference inquiries.

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging methods
- Familiarity with digital resources and technologies used in libraries

Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, organization, and maintenance of the library's collection
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services
- Maintain accurate records of borrowed materials and overdue items
- Ensure proper cataloging and classification of new materials
- Develop and conduct training programs for patrons on how to use library resources effectively
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan events, workshops, and other educational programs
- Stay updated on new developments in the field of Library Science
