Librarian Assistant


We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in our library located in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. As an assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the library and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the librarian with various tasks such as cataloging, shelving, and organizing materials
- Help to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library space
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons by answering questions and helping them locate materials
- Process new library cards and assist with renewals or replacements
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and circulation statistics
- Handle basic computer tasks such as checking in/out materials and using library software
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operation of the library

Requirements:
- Nationality preference for Indian or Pakistani candidates
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication with patrons
- Previous experience is not necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
