Contract Agronomist in Abu Dhabi, UAE


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Agronomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is suitable for male candidates and does not require proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze data to develop innovative farming methods and techniques that optimize crop yield and quality
- Evaluate soil quality, water availability, and climate conditions to determine the most suitable crops for cultivation
- Monitor crop growth and health, identify any issues or diseases, and implement effective solutions
- Develop and implement pest control strategies to prevent damage to crops
- Advise farmers on best practices for irrigation, fertilization, and other farming techniques
- Keep up-to-date with new developments in the agriculture industry and implement new technologies or methods when necessary
- Collaborate with other agronomists, researchers, and farmers to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Agronomist or similar role in the agriculture industry
- Strong knowledge of crop cultivation techniques, soil health, pest control methods, irrigation systems, etc.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds

This is a contract position that does not include accommodation.
