Information Security Analyst vacancy in Umm-Salal Qatar

Information Security Analyst - Umm-Salal, Qatar (African Nationals Preferred)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Umm-Salal, Qatar. This position is open to African nationals who are looking for part-time employment with accommodation provided and have their own valid visa.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Monitor network and system logs for any suspicious activity and investigate any potential security breaches
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends in information security
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure secure design, development, deployment, and maintenance of systems
- Provide training and guidance to employees on information security best practices
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in current systems and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption technologies, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard
- Knowledge of industry compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or PCI DSS
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders
