Petroleum Engineer

As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing methods to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in the field of petroleum engineering. You will be based in Lusail, Qatar and will work with a team of other engineers to ensure the efficient and safe extraction of oil and gas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research to determine the most effective methods for extracting oil and gas from underground reservoirs
- Designing drilling plans and monitoring drilling operations to ensure efficiency and safety
- Analyzing data from wells to determine productivity and make recommendations for improvement
- Developing plans for enhanced oil recovery techniques such as water flooding or gas injection
- Coordinating with other departments such as geology, production, and facilities to ensure smooth operation of oil and gas production
- Staying updated on industry developments, new technologies, and regulations related to petroleum engineering
- Providing technical support to other team members or clients as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering
- Strong understanding of drilling operations and reservoir engineering
- Experience with production optimization techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Must have a biometric passport (Indian nationality preferred but not required)
