Wedding Planner

A reputable wedding planning company in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking an experienced and talented Wedding Planner to join our team. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing all aspects of weddings for our clients. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to determine their wedding vision, budget, and preferences
- Create detailed plans and timelines for each event, including all necessary vendors and services
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather feedback
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors such as venues, caterers, florists, photographers, etc.
- Coordinate all logistics for the event, including transportation, accommodations, and guest arrangements
- Manage event staff and ensure they are fulfilling their duties according to the plan
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the planning process or on the day of the event
- Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and meet or exceed client expectations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Wedding Planner or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local vendors and venues in Al-Rayyan is preferred

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Planning or related field (certification from a recognized wedding planning organization is a plus)
- Proven track record of successfully planning weddings from start to finish
- Familiarity with event management software (such as Aisle Planner or Honeybook)
- Creative thinking skills to come up with unique ideas for each event
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
