Housekeeping Manager



We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations of our luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the hotel
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to support housekeeping operations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely manner, striving to resolve any issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the guest
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of housekeeping services with other hotel operations
- Create and maintain a budget for the housekeeping department, monitoring expenses and making adjustments as necessary
- Implement environmentally friendly practices in housekeeping operations to support sustainable initiatives

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills would be an asset)
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures for different types of surfaces and materials
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the ideal candidate will possess:

- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
- Previous experience working in Qatar or knowledge of Qatari culture
