Hotel Maintenance Engineer

As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the hotel. You will work closely with other maintenance team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and with the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of all hotel systems and equipment to identify any potential issues or areas in need of maintenance
- Respond promptly to guest requests for repairs or assistance with room amenities
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues that may arise
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and replacing worn parts
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Train new team members on proper maintenance procedures and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Location:
This position is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The candidate's nationality or location is not a strict requirement; however, preference will be given to candidates who are currently living in Qatar.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. As this role involves physical labor, candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
