Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist - English Speaking (Indian) for a Leading Hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar
Our client, a prestigious hotel located in the bustling city of Al-Rayyan, Qatar, is looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay by assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, responding to inquiries and requests, and providing information about the hotel's facilities and services.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to build rapport quickly with guests from diverse backgrounds. You should also have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and professional appearance are essential traits for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the hotel
- Assist with check-in procedures by verifying reservations, processing payments, and issuing room keys
- Provide information about the hotel's facilities and services
- Handle guest inquiries via phone or email promptly
- Manage room reservations from booking to check-out
- Ensure accurate billing upon check-out
- Respond to guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain guest records accurately using computer systems
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs or resolve issues
- Keep the front desk area clean and tidy at all times
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in a hotel setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Fluency in Hindi or any other Indian language is an advantage
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and hotel management systems
- Knowledge of reservation procedures and hotel services is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
