Contract Waiter for Indian Restaurant in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait



We are currently seeking a Contract Waiter to join our team at an Indian restaurant in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Contract Waiter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests. Your main duties will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-maintained. You will also be expected to have a good knowledge of the menu items and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

The ideal candidate for this role would be an Indian national with no English language requirement. We welcome those with no previous experience in the hospitality industry as training will be provided. However, we do require candidates to have excellent communication skills and a friendly personality.

This is a contract job with flexible working hours, making it suitable for students or individuals looking for part-time work. As this is not a full-time position, accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and seat them at their tables
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on menu items
- Serve food and drinks to customers promptly and accurately
- Ensure that all tables are clean and set up properly before seating new customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Process payment transactions accurately using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area including wiping down tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with basic food preparation when necessary

Requirements:

- Indian national with no English language requirement
- Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- No previous experience required, but willingness to learn and take direction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
