Entry-level Librarian in Abu Dhabi, UAE


We are seeking an Entry-level Librarian who is passionate about books and knowledge to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in library science and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management and organization of library materials, including cataloguing and shelving books
- Provide excellent customer service to library patrons, assisting with inquiries and locating materials
- Help develop and implement programs and events to promote literacy and engage the community
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute educational workshops for all ages
- Conduct research for library projects or initiatives as needed

Requirements:
- Egyptian nationality preferred
- No previous experience required, but must have a strong interest in library science
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be willing to live on-site in provided accommodation
