Accountant (Indian Nationals)

As an Accountant for our company in Al-Kuwait, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. We are specifically looking for Indian nationals who are fluent in English, have their own visa in Kuwait, and welcome opportunities for women in the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and balance sheets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Monitor budgeting process and ensure adherence to budget guidelines
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Assist with tax preparation and filing as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data for decision making
- Conduct periodic audits to identify potential financial risks
- Provide support during external audits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an accountant
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Kuwaiti accounting standards is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
