Job Title: Merchandiser - English Speaking (Indian Nationals Preferred)



We are a leading retail company based in Sharjah, UAE and we are looking for a highly skilled Merchandiser who can effectively communicate in English to join our team. As an Indian national, you will have the added advantage of being familiar with the local market and culture.

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profit margins for our company. You will also be required to work closely with suppliers and buyers to ensure that our products are displayed effectively and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop merchandising plans in line with company objectives and market trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability by coordinating with suppliers.
- Analyze sales data to identify product performance and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with buyers to plan product ranges and promotions.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure that products are displayed according to company standards.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, and promotional deals with suppliers.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide insights on market trends.
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and strategies.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Indian nationals preferred.
