Gardener - Contract Position (Indian Nationals Preferred)


We are currently seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a contract position, with preference given to Indian nationals. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-kept and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing landscaping plans for various outdoor areas including gardens, lawns, and parks.
- Planting, pruning, and fertilizing trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
- Maintaining irrigation systems and ensuring proper watering of plants.
- Using gardening tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and hand tools to maintain the appearance of outdoor areas.
- Removing weeds and dead plants to keep the garden clean and tidy.
- Monitoring plant health and identifying any pest or disease issues.
- Propagating new plants through seeding or cuttings.
- Assisting in the installation of new plants and landscaping features.
- Maintaining records of plant care activities.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role.
- Knowledge of various plants, trees, flowers, and gardening techniques.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and gardening tools.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Indian nationality preferred due to visa requirements.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in gardening or landscaping will be considered an advantage.

Working Conditions:
As a contract position, this job offers flexibility in terms of working hours. However, you may be required to work on weekends or evenings depending on the needs of the project. The job also involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
