Computer Engineer - Abu Dhabi, UAE


Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Computer Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop computer systems and components, including processors, memory devices, storage devices and networking equipment.
- Conduct testing and debugging of hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to design and implement new features or system upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases and security systems.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with hardware or software components, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in computer technology to make recommendations for improvements.
- Document system designs, configurations and changes for future reference.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, including processors, memory devices, storage devices and networking equipment.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java or Python.
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux or MacOS.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
- Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or Oracle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
