Computer Research Scientist


Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Al-Wakra, Qatar. As a leading research institution, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of computer science and advancing technology in various industries.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments to develop new computer algorithms, models, and systems
- Analyze existing technologies and identify areas for improvement

- Publish findings in academic journals and present at conferences
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of computer science
- Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a research role, preferably in a university or research institution setting
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB, R, etc.
- Proven track record of publications in reputable journals or conferences
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- PhD in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms
- Familiarity with big data technologies
