Handyman/General Maintenance Worker



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman/General Maintenance Worker to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are proficient in English and have experience in general maintenance work.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify any issues or needed repairs
- Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines
- Replace light bulbs and fixtures as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests from tenants or management
- Work with contractors and vendors as needed for larger repairs or projects

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or General Maintenance Worker in a similar role
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Malayalam proficiency is preferred)
- Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair work
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when necessary
- Must have a valid visa allowing for employment in Qatar
