Licensed Practical Nurse for Al-Khor City in Qatar


We are currently seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. This is a full-time position that offers competitive salary and benefits, including accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Perform routine nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities

Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Qatar (or eligible for licensure)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with strong empathy towards patients

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospital or long-term care facility
- Fluency in Arabic
- Bilingual (English/Arabic)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
