Job Title: Cashier for Retail Store in Jabal-Ali, UAE


Our retail store in Jabal-Ali, UAE is seeking a skilled and energetic Cashier to join our team. This position is open to all genders and nationality, with a preference for Indian candidates. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and guide them through the checkout process.
- Scan items accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Collect payment from customers in the form of cash, credit, or debit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times.

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must have excellent math skills and be able to handle transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
