We are seeking a reliable and efficient Cashier to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position is urgent and requires the candidate to have a valid visa for sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with assistance as needed
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer purchases
- Scan items, collect payments, give change and issue receipts
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Answer customer inquiries regarding prices, products, and promotions
- Maintain knowledge of store layout, current sales, and promotions to assist customers effectively
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Handle returns or exchanges according to company policies
- Monitor inventory levels of cash drawers and notify management when replenishment is needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in retail is a plus
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferably in an English-speaking environment
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to assist non-native speakers if required
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Preference will be given to Indian nationals who are fluent in English. The candidate must also be able to provide their own accommodation as it is not provided by the company.
