Job Title: Wedding Planner - Contract Position in Doha, Qatar

Our event planning company is seeking a skilled and experienced Wedding Planner to join our team on a contract basis in Doha, Qatar. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and organizing all aspects of weddings for our clients. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their wedding vision and budget
- Develop and present wedding proposals based on client requirements
- Coordinate with vendors including venues, caterers, florists, and decorators
- Manage all aspects of event logistics including timelines, budgets, contracts, and payments
- Provide recommendations for wedding themes, designs, and trends
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized and unique wedding experiences
- Ensure all necessary permits are obtained for the event
- Oversee the setup and execution of the wedding day
- Handle any last-minute changes or issues that may arise during the event
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Wedding Planner or similar role
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail with a creative eye for design
- Knowledge of local vendors in Doha is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in wedding planning or event coordination
- Experience working with diverse clients from different cultures is an asset
- Familiarity with different types of weddings (traditional, modern, cultural)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event planning software
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:
- This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance
- Must be able to work in Doha, Qatar without accommodation provided
- Visa sponsorship will be provided for international candidates
- Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends may be required
