Accountant - English Speaking (Indian Nationality)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. As an Indian national, you will be preferred for this position, however, all candidates with relevant experience and qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and statements in accordance with company policies and accounting principles
- Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment allocation, and collections
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budget preparation
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Handle tax calculations and submissions as per local regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to provide support on financial matters
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of local tax laws is preferred
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Quickbooks or Sage
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Other details:
This position is open to Indian nationals who have experience working in an English-speaking environment. Accommodation will not be provided, therefore we encourage applicants who are already based in Al-Kuwait or willing to relocate at their own expense.
