Light Driver


We are a reputable transportation company based in Dubai, UAE and we are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Light Driver to join our team. As a Light Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods and passengers.

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport goods and passengers within designated routes in Dubai and neighboring areas
- Load and unload goods as instructed by the supervisor
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or maintenance issues before and after each trip
- Report any accidents, injuries or vehicle malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
- Adhere to traffic rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
- Keep track of fuel consumption, mileage, and other vehicle records
- Assist with general duties such as running errands, delivering documents or supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Light Driver in Dubai or similar environment preferred
- Familiarity with Dubai roads, traffic rules, and regulations
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles confidently
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Physically fit with good eyesight for long hours of driving if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in customer service is an advantage
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Flexibility to work on weekends if needed

Working Conditions:
This is a contract job with flexible working hours. The employee must be available for work on weekdays including weekends when needed. The job requires sitting for long periods of time while driving. The employee may also be exposed to varying weather conditions while loading/unloading goods.
