Accountant

As an accountant for our company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Your main goal will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking activities
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Communicate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant in a similar role
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High level of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or other relevant certification
- Experience in biometric passport industry
- Fluency in Malayalam
