Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the library collection, including cataloguing books, journals, and other materials
- Assist patrons with locating and accessing resources, providing reference services, and resolving any issues or concerns

- Train and supervise library staff, ensuring high-quality customer service at all times
- Assist with budget management for the library's acquisitions and subscriptions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library Science from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian in an academic or public library setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Customer service oriented with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Familiarity with current library technologies such as integrated library systems
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when needed
- Knowledge of Indian literature or language is an asset
