Junior Accountant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This is a contract position suitable for candidates without prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is not required but is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
