Cashier - Retail Store (UAE)


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cashier to join our retail store team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a neat and organized checkout area. This position requires someone with previous cashier experience, preferably in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at all times
- Ensure all prices and products are scanned correctly at the checkout
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness of the store as needed
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Previous cashier experience, preferably in a retail setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Basic math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change for customers
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must be able to work in Sharjah, UAE with valid residency or visa sponsorship
- Accommodation can be provided if necessary
