Job Title: Administrative Assistant for English-Speaking Malayalees in Dukhan, Qatar
We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our English-speaking Malayalee team in Dukhan, Qatar. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our team. You will be responsible for providing administrative support and performing various clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the team such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and organizing meetings
- Maintain and update records, databases, and files
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist with travel arrangements and accommodations for team members
- Manage office supplies and equipment
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and maintaining expense records
- Liaise with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks
Requirements:
- Must be a fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prior experience working as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of Malayalam language would be an advantage
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role
- Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Malayalam would be an advantage
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
