Housekeeping Manager - Al-Rayyan, Qatar

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a prestigious hotel located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced candidate who can lead a team of housekeepers and maintain top-notch cleanliness standards throughout the property.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff.
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to ensure proper coverage and distribution of workload.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of housekeeping operations with front desk, maintenance, and laundry teams.
- Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene in all areas related to housekeeping.
- Develop and manage budgets for the department, keeping track of expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices are followed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a luxury hotel setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in hotel housekeeping operations.
- Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required.
