Dental Assistant

The role of a Dental Assistant is to support and assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients. This is a suitable position for men who have a biometric passport and are looking for an English-speaking job in Al-Khor, Qatar. Previous experience is not required, as on-the-job training will be provided.

As a Dental Assistant, your main responsibility will be to prepare and maintain the dental treatment room for procedures. This includes sterilizing equipment, setting up instruments, and ensuring the room is clean and well-stocked. You will also be responsible for taking and developing dental x-rays, preparing materials for impressions, and assisting with various procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.

In addition to clinical tasks, you will also have administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with patients regularly, both in person and over the phone.

This position does not include accommodation, so candidates must already have housing arrangements in Al-Khor or be willing to make their own arrangements. Having a biometric passport is also a requirement due to the country's immigration laws.

To excel in this role, you should have good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination as many tasks involve working with small instruments in tight spaces. Attention to detail is crucial when taking x-rays or assisting with procedures to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

As this is an English-speaking job, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in Qatar would be an advantage but is not mandatory.

This role requires someone who can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. You should also possess excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize them accordingly.
