Cashier - Malayalee Preferred

Our retail store in Al-Kuwait is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm welcome and assist them with their purchases.
- Scan items, collect payments, and issue receipts.
- Count and verify cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate transaction records.
- Handle exchanges or returns in a professional manner.
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints in a friendly and timely manner.
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in Malayalam (English proficiency is not required).
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
