Cashier vacancy in Doha Qatar

Cashier (Indian national preferred)

Our retail store in Doha, Qatar is currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. We are specifically looking for an Indian national who is fluent in English, able to work full time, and does not require prior cashier experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan and process merchandise accurately and efficiently
- Accept payment from customers in the form of cash, credit cards, or digital payments
- Use electronic scanning equipment to record prices of items and ensure correct pricing
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times
- Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy
- Keep track of inventory levels and request replenishment when necessary

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred due to language requirements
- Fluent in English (both speaking and writing)
- Able to work full time, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Comfortable using technology such as electronic scanners, cash registers, etc.
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required
