Cashier (Pakistani/African candidates preferred)


We are currently seeking experienced Cashiers to join our team at a retail store located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our ideal candidates would be from Pakistani or African backgrounds, have excellent English communication skills, and be able to work on a contract basis without accommodation.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Your main duties will include scanning items, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.

To excel in this role, you must have previous experience working as a Cashier in a retail or customer service environment. You should have strong numerical skills and be able to handle cash with accuracy. Proficiency in English is essential for communicating with customers and other team members.

This is a contract position that requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays. As accommodation is not provided, we are looking for candidates who are already based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they approach the checkout area and provide friendly and efficient service
- Scan items accurately and process payments using cash registers or card machines
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy while following company procedures
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns regarding products or services
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working as a Cashier in a retail or customer service environment
- Excellent English communication skills (Arabic would be an advantage)
- Strong numerical skills
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis without accommodation
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate at own expense
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
