Entry-Level Accountant

As an entry-level accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the financial operations of our company. This is a contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with general accounting duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Preparing financial reports and statements.
- Communicating with other departments to gather necessary information for accounting tasks.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting team.

Requirements:
- No prior experience required; however, basic knowledge of accounting principles is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis.
- Fluency in English is not required but considered an asset.
- Must have a valid work visa or be eligible for visa sponsorship.
