Junior Librarian
Location: Al-Kuwait, Kuwait
Nationality Preference: Egyptian


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the library, including assisting patrons with locating materials, organizing and maintaining collections, and providing basic reference services. This is a full-time position with no experience required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons in locating materials and answering basic inquiries
- Organize and maintain library collections
- Catalog new materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Process and check out library materials to patrons
- Provide basic reference services to library users
- Assist with programming and events, such as book clubs or author visits
- Keep library space clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior librarians

Requirements:
- Egyptian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred, but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working with computers and technology
