Petroleum Engineer - Oil and Gas Production Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of oil and gas from our operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and optimizing production processes for oil and gas wells
- Conducting well testing and analysis to determine the most efficient production methods
- Monitoring production rates and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Managing budgets for production projects and proposing cost-saving measures
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas production
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production operations
- Familiarity with software used in reservoir simulation and production optimization
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Effective communication skills in English
- Valid biometric passport (Qatari nationality preferred)
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
