Contract Petroleum Engineer - Urgent Hiring (Indian Nationality)


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. This is a contract position, perfect for Indian nationals who are looking to gain experience in the field of petroleum engineering.

As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of oil and gas extraction projects. You will work closely with geologists and other engineers to analyze data and create plans for drilling and production processes. Your role will also involve evaluating the economic viability of potential projects and making recommendations to ensure their success.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of drilling techniques, production methods, and reservoir behavior. Additionally, you should be able to use various software programs to analyze data and create detailed reports. While prior experience is not required for this position, candidates with some experience or knowledge in the field will be given preference.

As this is an urgent hiring process, we are looking for candidates who already possess their own visa in Qatar. This will help expedite the onboarding process so that you can begin your work as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning and designing oil and gas extraction projects
- Conduct research on potential drilling sites and evaluate their economic feasibility
- Analyze data from various sources to determine optimal production strategies
- Utilize software programs to create detailed reports on project progress
- Work closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other team members to ensure project success
- Monitor production levels and make adjustments as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations while working on site

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, production methods, and reservoir behavior
- Proficiency in using software programs such as Petrel or Eclipse
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Own valid visa in Qatar
