Housekeeping Manager - English Speaking


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are replenished in a timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness
- Train new housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and proper cleaning techniques
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments such as front office, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including budgeting and forecasting for supplies and staffing needs

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English is required; ability to speak multiple languages is an asset
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and motivating a team
- Knowledge of different cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with a strong eye for cleanliness is essential
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
