Female Librarian in Sharjah, UAE

As a leading academic institution in Sharjah, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Female Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for literature and be able to provide excellent customer service to our students and faculty.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials.
- Organize and classify materials according to the library's system.
- Assist students and faculty with finding and accessing resources.
- Provide instruction on how to effectively use the library's resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with publishers and vendors for purchasing new materials.
- Manage the library's budget and ensure efficient use of funds.
- Keep accurate records of borrowed materials and overdue fines.
- Plan and organize special events, such as book clubs or author visits.
- Train and supervise library staff members.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems and library databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
- Proficient in using technology for organizing and managing library resources.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. The position also includes free visa sponsorship and airfare ticket.
