Merchandiser (Pakistani or Malayalee)

The Company, a leading retail chain in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing products for our stores, ensuring that they are displayed in an attractive and organized manner to maximize sales.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze current trends to determine the best products for our target audience
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best prices and terms
- Create purchase orders and track inventory levels
- Coordinate with store managers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Plan product displays in accordance with store layout and marketing strategies
- Monitor product performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize sales
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotions and sales strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and compliance with merchandising standards
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Merchandiser in a retail setting
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret market trends and data
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English, fluency in Urdu or Malayalam is a plus
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
