Livestock Specialist

The Livestock Specialist will be responsible for managing the care and well-being of livestock in a farm or ranch setting. This includes overseeing the feeding, breeding, health, and overall management of a variety of animals such as cows, sheep, pigs, and chickens. The ideal candidate will have experience working with livestock and possess strong knowledge of animal husbandry techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily care and management of livestock
- Monitor feeding schedules and ensure animals are receiving proper nutrition
- Implement breeding programs to increase herd size and quality
- Administer medication and vaccinations as needed to maintain animal health
- Monitor herd health and identify any potential issues or illnesses
- Maintain accurate records of animal births, deaths, and other important data
- Coordinate with veterinarians for routine check-ups and emergency care
- Train and supervise farm staff in proper handling and care techniques for livestock
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience working with livestock in a farm or ranch setting
- Strong knowledge of animal husbandry techniques
- Ability to handle large animals safely
- Experience with breeding programs preferred
- Knowledge of common animal medications/vaccinations
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership skills

This is a full-time position located on a farm or ranch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Saudi Arabia. This is not a remote position.
