IT Manager

As an IT Manager at our company located in Umm-Salal, Qatar, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's IT systems and infrastructure
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing a team of IT professionals
- Ensure that all systems and networks are secure, reliable, and up-to-date
- Monitor system performance to identify any issues or areas for improvement
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and recommend new solutions to enhance our systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT management role
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and database management
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Preferred:
- Certification in project management (PMP) or networking (CCNA)
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the Middle East region
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to data privacy and security
