Petroleum Engineer
Location: Ar-Ruwais, Qatar
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies for oil and gas extraction, as well as conducting research and analyzing data to optimize production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells
- Develop strategies for enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Monitor well performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Analyze data on reservoirs to determine the best extraction methods
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to develop drilling plans
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology
- Provide technical support to operations teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the petroleum industry
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, production optimization, and reservoir engineering
- Familiarity with industry software such as PETREL or Eclipse
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
