Front Desk Receptionist vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar

Front Desk Receptionist - Indian Nationals Only

We are currently hiring a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected
- Answer phone calls and redirect them appropriately
- Manage reservations and room assignments accurately
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the hotel
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or relevant field is a plus
- Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in the hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Proficient in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g. Opera) is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

As an Indian national working in Qatar, you must also possess:
- Valid Qatari residence permit (QID)
- NOC from current employer (if applicable)
